About Me
Bonjour, I am Mastafa. Based in Seattle, I am a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft with 8+ AI patents. My background includes founding MHF and teaching NLP at EPITA Paris. However, my focus has evolved beyond just engineering: building the technology compels me to question its impact. I am now humbly dedicated to exploring the philosophical and societal implications of AI.
Born and raised in south of France with proud Moroccan roots, my character was forged on the tatami. Following my grandfather’s steps, I earned a black belt in Judo and two national championships in Karate Jutsu. The discipline of the tatami directly informs my research rigor. Currently, I am chasing progression in surfing, kitesurfing, and skiing, with plans to return to competitive grappling in 2026.
